Is there a fix for built in camera not working in Windows 10 version 1909 please?

Is there a fix for built-in camera not working in Windows 10 version 1909 please?
The camera has the latest driver, permissions etc. It shows separately in Device Manager i.e. not under imaging devices. Roll back driver greyed out. Stream.sys is not present in driver details. It is a USB2.0 UVC HD camera. Wondered if a systemic USB problem could be causing the problem.
Uninstalling and reinstalling camera app does not work. When camera is selected from Start list, message reads still updating camera app and does not change no matter how long you wait.

Message says Cannot locate your camera  but switches to Front Camera message and displays camera  buttons and then switches intermittently and repeatedly between the two situations.
Zonealarm Free Firewall & Antivirus have camera listed as a trusted application.
Hope you can provide a solution. TIA.
Best wishes, Kev

Based on your concern, there's a lot of people experiencing this kind of issue as well.

What I can suggest is to rollback the updates:

And disable your windows update for the mean time, please follow this link for detailed guide:

Unfortunately, I cannot revert to an earlier version as I deleted the Windows.old folder before I discovered that my camera was not working.
To be honest I am not sure when it stopped working,
With updates, I check for them manually.
The problem is that apart from reverting there is no other way e.g. via iso to reinstall an older Windows 10 operating system version.
I cannot system restore either as I do not have restore point prior to the update.
Hopefully, Microsoft will correct this in the next update, assuming of course they know what caused the problem in the first place.
Thanks again for your help.
Best wishes, Kev
